Biography

Jordan Lewis is widely regarded as one of the world's foremost authorities on alliances, partnering and coalitions. His three books on the topic--Trusted Partners, The Connected Corporation, and Partnerships for Profit--have been published in 12 languages. His next book, Principles of Coalitions, is in process. Lewis has taught at the Columbia, Dartmouth, London, Northwestern, and Wharton business schools, and the Brookings Institution.

A popular speaker, Jordan Lewis has keynoted major forums in the United States as well as Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, China, Columbia, France, Holland, India, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Monaco, Philippines, Portugal, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Switzer-land, the United Kingdom, and Uruguay. Jordan Lewis has spoken at six Euromoney/Institutional Investor events in Europe, the mid-East and the U.S.; five Business Week events in Asia, Europe, and the U.S.; four annual meetings of the World Economic Forum, in Davos, Switzerland, three Economist programs in Asia-Pacific and Europe; and two major Fortune conferences in Europe and the U.S.

Jordan Lewis is active throughout Asia, Europe, North and South America, and the Middle East. Firms he has advised include American Express, Du Pont, GE, H-P, Hitachi, IBM, Lockheed Martin, Marriott, P&G, Pfizer, Royal Bank of Scotland, Siemens, and Tesco. Non-profits include the American Cancer Society; CARE International; MacNeil/Lehrer Productions; a global coalition of Save the Children, Oxfam, World Vision, International Rescue Committee, and others; and a Gates Foundation health initiative serving the world's poor.

Jordan Lewis's biography appears in Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in Finance and Business. He is a Fellow of the World Economic Forum, and a member of the editorial advisory board of Gestion, the largest circulation management journal in Latin America. He chaired the Institutional Investor panel on corporate governance, and has written for The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. As a co-founder of firms in advanced computer graphics and other fields, Lewis served on their boards or advisory boards, as well as in wireless communications and environmental protection.
