What a gift Josh Weidmann was yesterday! He had strong Biblical content and was so easy to listen to. I would highly recommend him! He was also personable and caring. We liked him immediately
For nearly three decades, Josh Weidmann has been serving in Christian ministry. As a child, he began traveling and performing as a Gospel magician, sharing the message of Christ through illusions. Between the ages of twelve and thirteen, he traveled across North America, sharing the hope of Christ alongside other teens. He also founded the first student-led nonprofit ministry in America that helped to start Bible clubs and prayer groups on public high school campuses.
When the Columbine High School shooting devastated Josh’s hometown of Littleton, Colorado, in 1999, he found himself with an opportunity to speak on many national and international media platforms, which he has continued to do so ever since. He has been a guest for many notable ministries such as the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Youth for Christ International, Cadence, Focus on the Family, and more.
Josh has been a teaching pastor and leader in five churches in Illinois and Colorado over the last seventeen years; since 2015, he has served as the senior pastor of Grace Chapel in Englewood, Colorado.
After graduating from Moody Bible Institute, he earned a Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently a doctoral candidate there, emphasizing his study on expository preaching. He is also a certified biblical counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors and has founded two biblical counseling centers. He is heard daily on most of Denver’s major Christian radio stations in Denver and on a podcast through his radio program, GospelDaily.org.
Josh has published six books, including The End of Anxiety, Honest to God, and Raising Screen Time Kids. He regularly publishes on sites such as The Gospel Coalition, Church Leaders, The Biblical Counseling Coalition, Focus on the Family, and his website, JoshWeidmann.com. He frequently speaks at youth, college, and adult events on various topics to provide biblical motivation and inspiration in a life-changing way.
Josh is married to Molly and has six children. He considers his family his first ministry and the greatest opportunity for Gospel impact. They reside in Denver, Colorado.
