HIJACKING JESUS
How Progressive Christians Are Remaking Him and Taking Over His Church

Jesus, the most central figure in history, is being hijacked by progressive Christians.

It's essential to recognize that many individuals who identify as Christians are exploring different interpretations of their faith through progressive Christianity. This exploration has led to a reevaluation of traditional biblical teachings. While some may question the divinity of Jesus, others maintain strong beliefs in His miraculous birth, sacrifice on the cross, resurrection, and return. However, these differing viewpoints have made it challenging for some Christians to effectively communicate their beliefs and engage in meaningful conversations with friends and family who hold more progressive views.

Hijacking Jesus is a thought-provoking lecture series for those interested in understanding the controversial denials of Jesus Christ by progressive scholars, teachers, pastors, and writers, and developing a compelling counter-argument against progressive Christianity.

The series aims to create a respectful and empathetic environment that encourages meaningful and constructive conversations, fostering better understanding and respect among different belief systems.

Session One: The Conspiracy to Hijack Jesus (How it All Began)
Session Two: Six Attacks Against Jesus (What is at Stake)
Session Three: Three Reinvented Images of Jesus (The Rebuttal)

[Hijacking Jesus is also available in a condensed 40-minute version, perfect for chapels, Sunday services, and keynote presentations.]

MAKING THE CASE WHY CHRISTIANITY IS TRUE

Studies have shown that a significant number of Christians struggle to articulate their beliefs confidently and clearly when asked. In fact, the statistics show that only 1 in 10 Christians are capable and confident enough to explain what they believe and their reasons for believing in it.

This lack of clarity and conviction can be attributed to various factors, including insufficient knowledge of the tenets of their faith, lack of practice in discussing their beliefs, and discomfort or fear of being judged or criticized.

Christians must boldly and effectively articulate their beliefs to strengthen their faith and persuasively defend the truth of Christianity when questioned.

"Making the Case" is an apologetic series that provides evidence and reasonable answers for Christianity in an accessible way. The series covers five crucial questions Christians can learn to answer, enabling them to build a compelling case for Christianity.

1. Is There Truth?
2. Does God Exist?
3. Do Miracles Really Happen?
4. Is the Bible True?
5. Did Jesus Really Rise from the Dead?

[This has been a powerful worldview event for CRU, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Ratio Christi, The Navigators, Young Life, American Baptist Campus Ministry, and others.]

CHALLENGING CONVERSATIONS
Speaking The Truth in Love to Those Who Disagree with You

When someone brings up a sensitive topic like gender identity, abortion, politics, or racism, how do you usually react? Do you typically jump right in or prefer to steer clear of the conversation?

As Christians, engaging in challenging conversations with people with different opinions is essential. While it can be uncomfortable to speak up, and we may fear saying the wrong thing, it's an opportunity to learn from each other and share what you believe.

Unfortunately, many Christians avoid engaging in difficult conversations with individuals with opposing views. Many individuals experience social anxiety due to their fear of making a mistake or losing control during conversations. This fear can be overwhelming, causing them to feel awkward and ultimately withdraw from the conversation.

The power of "Challenging Conversations" lies in its ability to equip you with the skills to respectfully engage with people with different opinions on controversial topics, even if it makes you uneasy.

In this two-part series, we will explore ways to overcome common barriers to speaking up, share practical techniques to conquer our fears, and provide actionable advice to seize opportunities for meaningful interactions and connections with the people around us.

Session One: The Struggle to Communicate
Session Two: How to Become an Advocator of God’s Truth

WHY DOES GOD ALLOW EVIL AND SUFFERING?

Two of the most significant challenges to Christianity are: If God is All-Good, why does He allow us to suffer? And if He is All-Powerful, why doesn’t He eliminate evil?

However, evil and suffering aren’t just a “problem” for Christians but for every person, religion, and worldview. Why? Because grief, pain, and suffering are genuine experiences faced by individuals grappling with evil and real-world problems and seeking meaningful solutions daily.

In his inaugural presentation, renowned author and Christian apologist Jason Jimenez explores the perceived conflict between God and the existence of evil. He carefully examines the intellectual and emotional implications of evil, presents a compelling biblical argument for its presence, and discusses God's ultimate plan for its resolution.

In his second presentation, Jason explores the profound purpose of evil and suffering, aiming to support Christians in fortifying their faith and resilience in the face of adversity. Rather than succumbing to their suffering, he advocates turning to God as the Ultimate Source of genuine comfort and healing amidst anguish.

Challenging Conversations: A Practical Guide to Discuss Controversial Topics in the Church (Perspectives: A Summit Ministries Series)

by Jason Jimenez

When was the last time you had an honest, heartfelt, yet kind and productive conversation with someone about depression, mental illness, substance abuse, pornography, premarital sex, racism, divorce, abortion, LGBT issues, or politics? Our tendency is either to avoid talking about such volatile topics at all--even with other Christians--or to go on the attack, causing rifts that do nothing to encourage further discussion or growth.

If you're tired of avoiding tough conversations, if you want to be a light in a dark world but you're not sure how, Challenging Conversations is the book you've been waiting for. With straightforward answers to some of the most challenging moral issues disrupting the church, this book will help you build your confidence using three simple steps to becoming a conversant Christian. Each chapter begins with a true story, clarifies misconceptions and misunderstandings about the subject, and equips you to build rapport, ask the right questions, find points of agreement, and take the next fruitful step in the relationship. Because even if we disagree on a moral issue, that shouldn't make us mortal enemies.

The Official Study Guide to I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist

by Jason Jimenez

"I wish I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist had been available when I was an atheist-it would have saved a lot of time in my spiritual journey toward God." Lee Strobel, author, The Case for Christ, The Case for Faith, and The Case for a Creator "This extremely readable book brilliantly builds the case for Christianity from the question of truth all the way to the inspiration of the Bible. And the verdict is in: Christians stand on mounds of solid evidence while skeptics cling to nothing but their blind, dogmatic faith. If you're still a skeptic after reading I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist, then I suspect you're living in denial." Josh McDowell, speaker and author of Evidence That Demands a Verdict This study guide is the ultimate resource to use side-by-side with I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist and help the reader draw out the evidence for Christianity as well as provide practical insights on how to engage skeptics with the truth addressed in the book. The study guide is divided up into three parts that emboldens the reader to get motivated, equips the reader to be trained, and engages the reader so that they are prepared to readily respond to the objections asserted by skeptics and atheist. Concerned by these and other hard-hitting facts, experts Alex McFarland and Jason Jimenez have created a book that interviews top Christian leaders who work with Millennials and families. Their research and conversations will shed new light on what Christian parents must do to reach their young adult children. This book offers a strong voice of hope for parents, church leaders, and others who serve the Millennial generation.
