Say Yes to God!
Are there any 'type-A' control freaks out there? Kerri discusses her journey to become famous and how she TOLD God, "When I win an Academy Award, then I'll say your name!" Well... God got her attention and won her heart. Listen to how that happened and learn how God always has a spectacular ending in mind for each of His children. Kerri's honesty and inspiration will have everyone wanting to say "YES!" to God.
God's Not Done with You Yet!
Battling loneliness and a sense that she would never fit in with the cool kids in Hollywood, Kerri found wisdom and friendship with an 87-year-old woman named Betty--who was about to change her life. Betty, truly showed Kerri the importance of Titus, in chapter 2. Learn to take your 'Church Mask' off and be vulnerable. Discover that you don't need to 'earn' God's love. Hear Kerri's stories of wisdom, that will make your side ache and bring healing tears of laughter to your soul. -Kerri is still a prayer partner with Betty to this day!
Tales from a Proverbs 32 Woman
Rising early or plowing a field was never going to be Kerri's thing, which left her feeling wanting in God's eyes. She was more of a Proverbs 32 woman, rising late and letting her kids cook her breakfast! Kerri shares stories about not quite measuring up to 'Christian Ideals' and exposes the lie that women need to do and have it all; dispelling the burden many women carry to be perfect in order to be Christian.
When you struggle with control issues, how do you give your plans and desires to the Lord?
How can you feel worthy of God's love?
Does God sweat the small stuff? Does he care that you almost brushed your teeth with diaper cream and haven't showered for three days?
What do you do when you feel like you can't do it anymore? Is there room for mistakes in God's Kingdom?
I Didn't Make Cheerleading
From a young age, Kerri struggled to fit in. As she grew older, the fame of Hollywood offered a solution to fill that void in her heart--a desire to belong. Christian women often feel pressure to make sure we're sitting at the 'cool table'. Afraid of rejection, we put on our church face and don't let our sisters know that we're suffering.
Kerri frees women to get real, willing to admit to themselves and others that they struggle sometimes. Whether it's depression, anger, grief, or loss, we all have scars that God can heal as we carry one another's burdens.
God Gave You a Boat
All of us experience rough water in life, but surrendering to God is the key to surviving the tsunami that can hit us. Kerri has experienced struggles, even the insurmountable tsunami as she walked side-by-side with her mother through the horrible battle of breast cancer. Not once, but multiple times.
Drawing from the wells of the scriptures, Kerri found strength in Isaiah 43. With skillful humor and a tear or two, Kerri will guide the audience to follow the Lord through the torrents, because He will not let them drown. He will always give us the option of "getting into the boat." No matter how low you sink, you'll always see God's face—if you look for it!
Tales From a Hollywood "God Girl"
Even as a little girl who didn't fit in, Kerri dreamed of fame and fortune in Hollywood. Being a 'strong-willed' child, no one really knew what lay ahead for this quirky kid. After college, the good little girl who generally gave up about 70% to God, wasn't ready to give that much up when it came to her TV career or dating—Kerri wasn't ready to give up THAT much control.
But her family never stopped praying, and God never left her side. Then one night, after praying, Kerri's heart changed, and she surrendered everything over to God and never looked back.
Fight Like a Woman ~ Battle Strategies for Women
Kerri will light your event on fire with the spirit of empowerment only God can provide for women. This talk will inspire women to get out of their own way, stop conforming to the false belief systems of society, and share our personal struggles so we can heal.
Waiting on God...Proactively
Kerri spent her 20s trying to find 'Mr. Right' so she could fulfill the expectations of being married with kids, as her mother prayed. She often felt less or not quite whole. During her search, Kerri found heartache, life lessons, and garnered plenty of comedic material. Then Kerri will wrap it all up with hilarious anecdotes that will have audiences rolling in the aisles with laughter while inspiring them to hand their problems over to God. The REAL first love of their life.
An informative interactive workshop for anyone who has a heart for the arts and media. Whether you're a prayer warrior or performer at heart, Kerri will answer questions backed by personal experience about working in the media industry. Aspiring actors will also participate in improv games, mock auditions, and learn about the publishing world. It's fun and eye-opening for those intending to pursue full or part-time careers in the arts.
