Our Role as Hosts

#LOVEHEALS, is not just a slogan, Becca Stevens has lived it. We are excited to be able to have this multifaceted author, speaker, priest, social entrepreneur, founder and president of Thistle Farms share her story and that of Thistle Farms. There will be conversation around sustainability, scalability and thinking strategically together about how we can be part of a welcoming community for all. Additionally, in this presentation she will invite discussion around how we show hospitality to women survivors of trafficking and addiction. Stevens will offer participants an interactive experience with essential oils made by survivors and talk about how we can be lavish and economical in our efforts to offer justice. She believes our role is to be hosts, not heroes, and that together we can be effective with dignity for the people we are serving. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about Our Role as Hosts as Becca Stevens offers insights on why it matters how we source things for our programs.
