Yvonne is the creator of media personality Ms. Megabyte and has a career that spans print, television, radio and the Internet.

Yvonne is popular in the corporate speaking arena for her keynote address and complimentary workshop on her creative thinking style: Popcorn Thinking. Her mission is to demonstrate to the widest possible audience that everyone can access creative thinking. Once you turn up the heat, your brain will pop with ideas like never before!

Ms. Megabye is a regular on Channel 10's national 9am with David & Kim and was previously with GMA, Today Show, Sunrise and The Panel. Her mission it to take the hard out of hardware, the science out of software and the fear and frustration out of everyday technology.

After six years at Microsoft, Yvonne started her own consultancy. Then, in popcorn thinking mode, she generated ideas to find a wider audience for her technology help and relized she could use the media to get her message across to an unlimited number of people. Enter Ms. Megabyte - now a household name and author of best-seller Conquer Your Computer.

Yvonne was a 2006 finalist in the Telstra Business Women's Awards and is a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (an award recognizing credible professionals helping the global community). She is also a member of the Vic ICT for Women board which facilitates entry, retention and progression for women in ICT.

Yvonne and Ms. Megabyte love getting up in front of an audience and the most common feedback is "She's a breath of fresh air!" Though she can talk about most things, her most popular topics are Taming Technology and Popcorn Thinking. She even runs a team-building conference activity called Cubicle Survivor - a trivia quiz with a twist where your people and your industry are the stars of the show.
