Terry Grossman, M.D. is the founder and medical director of the Grossman Wellness Center in Denver, Colorado, where his longevity medical practice attracts patients from around the country and the world. He graduated from Brandeis University in 1968 and the University of Florida School of Medicine in 1979. His special field of interest is nutritional medicine (the treatment of illness with nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants and natural hormones) and anti-aging medicine.
Dr. Grossman is a widely sought lecturer on longevity medicine throughout the United States and has presented keynote addresses at medical seminars throughout the U.S. as well as in Japan, South Korea, Thailand and South Africa. He is the author of the Baby Boomers' Guide to Living Forever (2000) and the coauthor with Ray Kurzweil of Fantastic Voyage: Live Long Enough to Live Forever (2004) and TRANSCEND: Nine Steps to Living Well Forever (2009). He is also the author of numerous papers published in both peer-reviewed medical journals and lay publications.

We know that it is possible for children to grow older without aging, but this rarely occurs later in life. This is a result of our genetic code having been written tens of thousands of years ago when life spans of less than 30 years conferred a survival advantage to our ancestors. By making proper lifestyle choices, it is possible to reprogram our biochemistry so that people of any age can grow older without aging. Key topics discussed include:
• If it wasn’t around 10,000 years ago … don’t eat it
• Exercise 18 minutes a day for optimal fitness
• Two painless ways to CR (caloric reduction)
• Three nutritional supplements needed by everyone
• Stress reduction made simple
Dr. Grossman will not only entertain your audience, but will motivate them to make life-changing decisions in order to optimize their health beginning as soon as they leave his presentation. He is a seasoned and popular public speaker who delivers the following qualities in his public appearances:
• Customized speeches tailored to each audience he addresses
• Practical, at-home action plans to restore youthfulness and “live younger longer”
• Translation of complex topics such as biotechnology and genetics into easy-to-understand anti-aging strategies
• Captivating story-telling with humorous, down-to-earth presentation
• Inspires people to embrace the idea of a healthier, more youthful life
While advances in computer or information technology have been occurring at an exponential rate, changes in medicine have proceeding much more slowly. The old paradigm is changing as medicine has started to become an information technology and will experience rapid advancement in the decades ahead. In his latest book Transcend: Nine Steps to Living Well Forever, Grossman compares the changes that will occur in medicine in the years ahead to a passage over three bridges. Bridge one consists of the therapeutics and modalities available today, while bridge two will derive from biotechnology breakthroughs and bridge three will be based on advances in nanotechnology and artificial intelligence. Bridge two biotechnology will include gene therapies, robotics, rejuvenation therapies including enhanced and bionic organ replacement along with a multitude of stem cell therapies. Nanotechnology has already advanced to the point that nanoscale molecules have been produced that can home in on cancer cells and deliver targeted chemotherapy with minimal destruction to normal tissues. Within two decades nanoscale robotic devices (nanobots) such as respirocytes (nanobiotic red blood cells) and microbivores (nanobiotic white blood cells) will control many aspects of human physiology far better than the original cells they will enhance. Blueprints for these devices are on the drawing boards today and plans are being made for their eventual fabrication and use within the human body.
