Clint Hill Commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the JFK Assassination

Clint Hill 1

From the election of John Fitzgerald Kennedy in November 1960 until after the election of Lyndon Johnson in 1964, Clint Hill was the Secret Service agent assigned to guard the glamorous and intensely private Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy. During those four years, he went from being a reluctant guardian to a fiercely loyal watchdog and, in many ways, her closest friend.

Together with award-winning journalist, Lisa McCubbin, Hill vividly captures the life of a Secret Service agent in his book, Mrs. Kennedy and Me: An Intimate Memoir.

In remembrance of the 50th anniversary of the JFK assassination, Hill and McCubbin will embark on a unique joint presentation tour this fall. Witness history come to life as McCubbin draws out poignant and painful memories from Hill in an unforgettable hour filled with humor and drama, with the backdrop of rarely seen photos and videos. Audiences leave with an insight into the workings of the Secret Service, answers to the conspiracy theories, and inspired by the powerful message of an unlikely hero.
