Tripp & Megan Almon
Biography

Tripp and Megan Almon are a husband-and-wife team who serve with Stand to Reason — Tripp as Outpost Coordinator and speaker, and Megan as a speaker specializing in pro-life apologetics, bioethics, and aesthetics. Married since 2003, the Almons live in Colorado with their two children, Neely and Rogan, and frequently travel together to equip Christians across the country to think clearly, live faithfully, and stand graciously for truth.

Megan is a former University of Georgia gymnast and award-winning journalist who has spoken to audiences across the U.S. and abroad, including students, legislators, and church congregations. She earned her M.A. in Christian Apologetics from Biola University in 2011 and spent over a decade with Life Training Institute before joining Stand to Reason in 2025.

Tripp, a Georgia native and former elite gymnast turned rally car co-driver, has spent his career helping students navigate the battle of ideas. His journey includes more than 20 years coaching gymnastics, 10 years in pastoral ministry, and 7 years as Director of the Summit Ministries Gap Year. His passion lies in training both youth and adults to own their worldview and engage culture with wisdom and courage.

Together, Tripp and Megan bring a unique blend of clarity, compassion, and conviction to their teaching. Whether on stage or in small-group settings, they love challenging audiences to think deeply and live boldly for the cause of Christ.

Tactics

How to discuss your Christian convictions. This can be an intro talk of a short length or a course that can be up to 6 hours in length. We discuss the best approaches to having productive and grace-filled discussions about Christianity in any setting. This course is directly modeled after the book Tactics, How to discuss your Christian Convictions by Greg Koukl.

Dating Discussion

Megan and Tripp.  Student directed Q&A/discussion on the topic of dating. Normally it starts with sharing our story followed by group Q&A. If time (another 30mins minimum) and circumstances allow, then we add on an option of breaking up into guys and girls for questions - Megan and I switch between the two groups.  This takes more than 45mins for sure, but the students always love it.  The difference here would be that your students wouldn’t know us at all. Summit students have already had some exposure to us.

The Resurrection
A B.E.A.R. of an Argument

According to Paul, Christianity hinges on the Resurrection of Jesus. If he didn’t rise from the dead, our faith is in vain. If he did…it changes everything. Learn to argue for the validity of the Resurrection of Christ using the minimal facts that even the toughest critics of Christianity accept as historically accurate.
