On his show on Fox News Channel, Mike Huckabee said that his mother was smarter than most of our leaders in Washington.

"She was a child of the Great Depression," he said on last week's episode of Huckabee. "When I really wanted something, she's say, 'Hey, boy, you've got a champagne appetite and a Coca Cola paycheck."
