Julie Hadden Bio

Julie Hadden, struggled with her weight and low self-worth all her life. At a point of utter desperation, she cried out to God for help. His answer came in the most unusual way: through reality TV.

As one of the most successful and memorable contestants ever on NBC's The Biggest Loser, Julie's journey chronicled her emotional battle with obesity on national television for the entire world to see. It was previously a private struggle that became very public, as millions of viewers tuned in each week to watch. The experience helped birth a new physique, but the transformation went far deeper than that. It was a total transformation: body, mind and spirit, and was much more about what she gained than what she lost. God revealed to her the enormous worth He places on all His children. It was a lesson she took to heart; and one she is passionate about sharing with others.

She has appeared on Access Hollywood, Extra, Inside Edition, Entertainment Tonight, E! Entertainment Television, Larry King Live, the Canadian television show "Reality Obsessed", The Hour of Power, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The 700 Club and in numerous other magazines and print publications.

She has worked as a special correspondent for "Got Milk?", done commercial work for Nordic Track and is currently a writer for the nationally circulated WHOA Women's Magazine.

In December 2014, on the Tenth Anniversary of The Biggest Loser, People.com named Julie among its "Top Ten Transformations" of all time.

Julie is the author of the book entitled "Fat Chance, Losing the Weight, Gaining My Worth," with her second book in the works.

After a ten year "infertility diagnosis" Julie was overjoyed to announce (on her 40th birthday) that she was pregnant, naturally. She attributes her ability to conceive to God's grace as well as her commitment to maintaining a healthy body weight, "Post Biggest Loser," and a dedication to good nutrition and regular exercise. She now blends all these things with motherhood duties to her three children.
