Tim Chambers
Biography

Tim Chambers grew up working on his Grandparents farm in Silverton, Oregon canning every fruit and vegetable under the sun.  Grew up the oldest of six kids. Well known as the high school’s mascot “Silver Fox”.  His enthusiasm was a natural fit enlisting in the Marine Corps and served from 1994 – 2010.  Over his career he was the recipient of numerous awards for volunteerism and received a Navy Commendation Medal for his actions on 9/11 at the Pentagon and days after.  Since 2002 has become known as the “Saluting Marine” for an annual salute he has held in Washington D.C. at the annual POW/MIA event in Washington D.C. known as Rolling Thunder started by Vietnam Veterans, now to be known as “Rolling to Remember” thanks to the AMVETS.  This Salute lasts over 4 hours each year and has been taken as a welcome home to Vietnam and Korean War Veterans.  In 2020 he published a children’s book called The Saluting Marine presents Honor!  A book educating kids what the flag represents and asks them to “Add something to the flag”. Serves the AMVETS as an official spokesperson.  Started a nonprofit called TSM Cares which inspires people to improve the quality of life of our youth, less fortunate and our heroic Veterans. He has helped Veterans with unaffordable dental needs, and travels nationwide to present a final salute to Veterans near the end of life and presents a eulogy to them and their family honoring their service.  His purpose in life is to reinforce importance, enthusiasm, and purpose in the lives of others, because society only highlights the negatives, and this leads to suicide, addictions and much worse.

How do I book Tim Chambers for my event?

Booking Tim Chambers with Premiere Speakers Bureau is a streamlined 4-step process:
  • Availability Check: Contact us with your event date and budget to verify if your desired speaker is available.
  • Hold Date: We place a temporary "hold" on the speaker's calendar while you finalize internal approval.
  • Contracting: We issue a contract outlining the fee, cancellation policy, and event expectations.

Why should I partner with Premiere Speakers Bureau rather than contacting speakers directly?

We know what it takes to run an excellent event.

How does Premiere Speakers Bureau's 'Zero Cost Service' model work?

Premiere Speakers Bureau operates on a 'Zero Cost Service' model for event planners. Our services—including research, booking, and logistics—are always free to the client. The speaker covers our commission from their standard honorarium as payment for our role in marketing and managing their engagements.

How are speaker fees structured, and what is typically included?

A speaker's fee typically covers the keynote presentation, a pre-event planning call, and standard customization. Travel expenses are usually billed separately.

What are the standard policies for speaker travel and expenses?

Travel expenses are negotiated during contracting. We generally recommend a flat travel fee for simplicity, though we also offer line-by-line invoicing when preferred. PSB ensures these expenses adhere to professional standards, and our Event Portal allows for easy tracking and invoicing.
