Exclusive Speaker Named One of Forbes' Most Influential
One of our exclusive speakers, Tyler Gage (pictured right), and his business partner (pictured left) were recently named Forbes 30 Under 30 Most Influential for cofounding Runa, an all-natural tea beverage.
During their last semester at Brown, Tyler Gage and Dan MacCombie came up with an idea that inspired them to move to Ecuador after graduation in 2008. Their company processes and sells guayusa – a native Amazonian tree leaf that has been brewed like tea for thousands of years by indigenous communities in the Ecuadorian Amazon. The tea offers a clear, focused energy by balancing as much caffeine as one cup of coffee with twice the antioxidants of green tea.
