FOX News has signed market strategist and former CNBC commentator Steve Cortes as a contributor. Cortes will provide market and political analysis on FOX Business Network (FBN) and FOX News Channel (FNC). Since 2007, Cortes has appeared daily on CNBC’s Fast Money and provided commentary on the mid-day program Fast Money Halftime Report.
Cortes is a 20-year veteran of Wall Street, providing real-time market research to institutional clients including banks, hedge funds, and sovereign wealth funds. In 2016, Cortes was named to then-Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s Hispanic Advisory Council and currently serves as an informal advisor to the president.
A graduate of Georgetown University, Cortes is the author of the 2011 book: “Against the Heard: 6 Contrarian Investment Strategies You Should Follow.”
