"The best interviewer in the business" is how Sports Illustrated describes Roy Firestone, host of ESPN's Up Close Prime Time. One of America's most versatile talents, Roy Firestone is recognized for his multiple abilities as an interviewer, journalist, commentator, and stage performer. Critically acclaimed for his work in broadcast journalism, Firestone has won six Emmy Awards and two Cable ACE Awards, he has interviewed more than three thousand people, including nearly every major sports figure. Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Jim Murray calls Roy Firestone, "the best interviewer I've ever seen. That's not the best interviewer in sports, that's the best interviewer period." Curiosity and passion drive Firestone to interview people beyond the realm of sports and in the world of art, music, politics and popular entertainment. His interview subjects are an eclectic mix including former president Richard Nixon; legendary actor James Stewart; jazz great Miles Davis; comedian Jerry Lewis; and pop icon Madonna. Roy Firestone performs his multi-media review before audiences in Las Vegas, The Grand Ole Opry, at major sporting events, meetings, formal events and conventions throughout the world. The accomplished singer, impressionist, and humorist has shared the bill with notables such as Frank Sinatra, Loretta Lynn, Vic Damone, Gladys Knight, the Four Tops, and Frankie Valli. Appearances include Late Night with David Letterman, Later with Bob Costas, The Arsenio Hall Show, Nightline, Larry King Live, and Married with Children. Roy Firestone has performed for hundreds of corporate clients including: AT&T, Cadillac, Quaker Oats, Pepsi, Nike, Toyota, Avia, General Foods, Delta Airlines, Mayflower Movers, Sun Computers, Prudential, Thrifty Car Rental, Northwest Airlines, Russell Athletic, Fujitsu, Anheuser Busch, The Sports Authority, OfficeMax, Chevron, Transamerica, Sara Lee, Frito-Lay, Pontiac, and Quaker State. In his home town of Miami Beach, Florida, Roy Firestone began his career as a sports reporter and anchor before moving to Los Angeles as a sports anchor for KCBS-TV (1977-85). He was host of ESPN's SportsLook (1980-90) and is currently host of Up Close Prime Time. He hosts Mark Cuban's HDNet Face To Face With Roy Firestone and AOL's Time Out With Roy Firestone. A One Man-Show

Roy Firestone's presentation is more than a keynote speech. It is more than a 'mailed in' corporate presentation. Roy uses humor, observational experiences, fantastically funny video clips of bloopers, blunders, topical events and newsmakers. Roy does a dozen celebrity impressions and uses some computer graphic work to make members of the audience "come alive" on stage. Roy also moves, inspires and uplifts with storytelling, music, spoken word narratives and inspiring life experiences. Roy Firestone's presentation is truly one of a kind.
