Roger Craig made his name known with his versatility. After an outstanding collegiate career at Nebraska, Craig was selected in the 2nd Round by the San Francisco 49ers and contributed immediately. Craig's twelve total touchdowns helped guide the 49ers to the NFC title his Rookie season. Craig went on to have a storied eleven year playing career, amassing 13,143 total yards and 73 touchdowns while helping the 49ers to three Super Bowl victories. Craig's play earned him the honor of being a four time All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection. Craig's career presented a number of firsts: He was the first player to score three touchdowns in a Super Bowl; first running back to both rush for and receive more than 1,000 yards in the same season; first player to make separate Pro Bowls as both a running back and a fullback; and first running back to lead all players in receptions in a season.
