Matt Manzari is a former pro athlete who survived two near-fatal accidents—one on the water, and one involving 14,000 volts of electricity. His story of survival, recovery, and purpose has captivated audiences nationwide.
Originally a Nike-sponsored wakeskater, Matt walked away from competition to pursue ministry. A catastrophic accident left him with multiple fractures. Then, just a year later, while volunteering at a church, he was electrocuted by a power line—an incident that caused life-threatening burns over most of his body.
Doctors didn’t expect him to live. But after more than 70 surgeries, Matt rebuilt his life—and now speaks to audiences with humor, humility, and a powerful message about perseverance, faith, and purpose beyond pain.
