This Week: Celebrating 25 Years on the Stage, 25 Years in the Speaking Industry!
This is a wonderful month – in that it marks 25 years that I’ve been on stage!
My very first ‘career’ event was a public relations event, this very week, at what was then SkyDome, in Toronto, Canada, on the impact of the “wired world” on the future of business. (It wasn’t on the field, it was in the meeting rooms…) (I did a lot of presentations before that, but this was the first one that had a fee…)
You know there are now a gazillion speakers out there who will give you a canned talk.
I’ve prided myself that over this 25 year time span, I’ve worked hard to speak to the issues that my client needs – not some canned routine that I’d developed in front of a mirror.
To celebrate, I’m releasing this short 3 minute that pays homage to my roots, with some original clips! Check out the hair!
