Your life is a live performance, and the small decisions you make every day have an irreversible effect on the trajectory of your life.
I'm not talking about reckless decisions that have obvious, negative consequences on our lives and the lives of others like drunk driving, cheating on a test, or having an affair.
I'm talking about the daily, quiet decisions you make passively that prevent your life from going in the direction you want it to. Things like spending our evenings watching TV, avoiding conversations with our family members, putting off that cruise we've been wanting to take with our spouse, consistently working late, or staying quiet when know we have a message to share.
It is these decisions not to do what matters that harm us more than anything else.
If you lived your life like it was a live performance, what would you do differently? I have a feeling you'd take some more risks, share what's your mind, and check more things off of your bucket list.
You'd start projecting your voice and doing your own stunts.
