Dr. Christopher Bray is a cognitive behavioral researcher, speaker, author and CEO / founder of the Adaption Institute, a research-based firm that provides science-based solutions for organizations. Dr. Bray and his team of neuroscientists, behavioral change experts, and university-based researchers focus on the skills and capabilities needed for employee and organization peak performance, change/adaption and resilience / thriving in the 21st-century world of work. He also works with several research institutions to bring brain health, performance and optimization to the workplace. Dr. Bray has worked with Fortune 500 organizations and numerous tech startups, creating organization wide virtual and in-person
learning journey's, executive development and organization/employee change initiatives.
Dr. Bray worked for Pfizer and Baxter for 16 years and finished his corporate career as Senior Global Vice President of Organizational Development & Effectiveness.
Dr. Bray has a Ph.D. in Organizational & Adult Development and a second Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational psychology with a concentration in the cognitive sciences (ABD). He also earned an MBA. Dr. Bray is a researcher and faculty member at the Harvard Brain Health Initiative. He also teaches at the Fuqua School of Business at
Duke University for executive education.
Dr. Bray's first book, "Best Job Ever" was a USA today best seller, and his second book "How to Raise Remarkable Kids Without Talking To Them" was released in December of 2021. His third book is due out September 2023.
Dr. Bray resides in Arizona with his wife and six children. He is an ice cream connoisseur, tennis and pickleball fanatic, and ten years (8,000 hours) away from being a concert pianist.
