Lessons from Four Years of Lunches with My Grandfather

Just after I graduated college and started my career, I read the book “Tuesdays with Morrie.” It was a remarkable book, and the story of Mitch Albom and Morrie Schwartz inspired me to spend some special moments with someone dear to me, my grandfather.

For the next four years, I met my grandfather for lunch every Tuesday, soaking up his wisdom, his love, his life, and an understanding that life’s beauty is directly tied to its fragility.

As you race into your Wednesday, may the stories of Mitch & Morrie and my grandfather & me be reminders to slow down, be present, and recognize the fleeting nature of life.

Today is your day. Live Inspired.
