Change comes at you, from many directions. Yet it also comes from you. You want different results? Stronger relationships? Better health? The question is, what are you going to do about it? Current patterns create more of the same. It takes curiosity and courage to shake things up.

We get stuck because there's simply too much information to consider, too many calculations about what might happen if you try, say, or do something different. We also think it takes big moves and radical changes to make any real difference. Don't buy it.

Chaos theory tells us that small changes affect everything in very big ways. You can't control the exactness of the outcome, but you can control the intention behind the action. And when it comes to uncertainty, you can play defense or offense. Wait to deal with what happens, or change something now, motivated by truth, principles, and the person you aspire to become.

Instead of trying to take in everything and calculate the next move, answer this question. What is the one thing you could do that would make a positive difference? Chances are, you already know that answer.

What one change could transform your work? What one action could improve that relationship? How about your mental or physical health? What is the small thing you could do today, in any of those areas, to start the change reaction.

If you limit yourself to what's comfortable you deny yourself what's possible. So find the strength today, to do one small thing in a significantly different way, and stay tuned for the the change to come. Until next week, stay Off Balance On Purpose.
