Steve Doocy is the Emmy award winning host of FOX & Friends, America's number one cable morning news program. For many years, he was the Times Square reporter for the legendary Dick Clark "Rockin' New Years Eve" program. His television work has been honored with 11 local EMMY Awards for feature coverage as well as the Associated Press' Feature Reporter of the Year Award.
Before joining Fox News Channel in November 1996, Doocy was co-anchor for WCBS-TV's "Early Morning Newscast." Prior to his stint with WCBS-TV, he hosted "Wake Up America," a daily program on NBC's America's Talking. From 1990 to 1994, he was host of "Not Just News," FOX's children's newsmagazine and was also host of NBC's nationally syndicated program "House Party" from 1989 to 1990.
In addition to broadcasting, Doocy is an award-winning writer. "The Mr. and Mrs. Happy Handbook" - a humorous look at marriage - became an instant New York Times bestseller. The follow-up title, "Tales from the Dad Side", was another NYT's bestseller.
Steve Doocy is married to Kathy Gerrity Doocy, formerly a host at ESPN, and they have three children. The family lives outside of New York City.
