Brian is a force. Storyteller, pastor, discipler of men, and innovator and pioneer as a leader and church builder. And continues to impact and influence the greater Cincinnati area, as well as leaders around the US.
Brian Tome was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, where he studied theology at Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary. After responding to an ad in the back of a magazine from a group of 11 people who wanted to start a church for their friends who had given up on church but not on God, Brian moved to Cincinnati, OH, and started Crossroads Church in 1996. Brian continues today as the Senior Pastor of Crossroads, a multi-site church which is considered one of the largest and fastest-growing churches in America.
Within his Crossroads congregation, Brian has been able to foster an ever-growing passion for social entrepreneurship and adventure. 50,000 members in 11 sites across Ohio and Kentucky are actively engaged in combating generational poverty in Cincinnati's urban core through CityLink Center as well as helping to create wealth upstream through OCEAN Programs, a faith-based business accelerator for venture backable businesses, and Unpolished, which helps traditional startups. Crossroads also supports ventures outside the country; supporting Entrepreneurship in South Africa, building homes in India for girls rescued from sex slavery, and feeding and educating children in Nicaragua.
In addition to his work at Crossroads, Brian has authored four books: Welcome to the Revolution, Free Book, 5 Marks of a Man, and MOVE: A Guide to Get Up and Go Forward. Brian has been featured in Amazon Prime' adventure show, Phantom Lake and hosts a weekly podcast; The Aggressive Life. He is also the founder of Man Camp, a primitive weekend outdoor experience designed to help men discover and reclaim the code of manhood and become committed brothers, husbands, and fathers.
Brian is married with three children and calls Cincinnati, Ohio home.
