A recent study published in the Harvard Business Review confirms that face-to-face interaction continues to be a vital part of successful businesses. The survey of 2,300 business leaders found that executives prefer in-person meetings to remote interactions such as web events and teleconferences.
Nearly 80 percent of respondents reported that "in-person meetings are the most effective way to meet new clients to sell business" and 89 percent said such face-to-face interaction is "essential for 'sealing the deal.'"
Although many companies are decreasing their number of in-person events--75 percent of reporting businesses--live events continue to be an irreplaceable part of growing and maintaining a successful business. Read more about the study at SuccessfulMeetings.com.
