Biography

From growing up on welfare at the bottom of New Zealand, to traveling the globe as a Pro Snowboarder earning a Silver Medal at the World Finals and then successfully transitioning to the world business where he's Founded and exited several companies - there is NOTHING Robett does half way. 

 

Robett Hollis successfully built one of the countries leading Video Production and Content Consultancy Agencies, which after 12 years was eventually acquired by Saatchi&Saatchi / Publicis Groupe - The 3rd Largest Communications Company in the World. To help support the startup and tech community he also launched, built and exited the nations Largest Network of Co-Working Shared Spaces which operated in a range of locations. Robett also Co-Founded the country's first ever government funded business accelerator aimed to support indigenous Founders which is now in it's 7th year.

 

Robett has been an ambassador for Mastercard, HP and was named by LinkedIn as one of the Top 3 most influential New Zealanders on the platform. He also made the list of Metro Magazine's Top 10 Innovators of The Year and was recognized with a medal at the Local Hero Awards for his contributions to the community.

 

As a radical optimist that has already lived several lifes so far, Robett is not for the faint hearted - he will bring an intellectual and mischievous energy to any event and will ‘poke the bear’ and try tackle the elephant in the room with humour, emotion, passion and commercial insight that is second to none.
