Libby Rapin is the founder of Something Beautiful and Co-Founder of BluWave Wellbeing. She is a sought after speaker who aims to deliver an educational and uplifting message in an interactive and positive format that will inspire people to live purpose driven lives filled with more joy, love, and compassion in order to bring healing into the world. After spending ten years in human resources for high growth technology start-ups, she reached the point of burnout and is now on a mission to create awareness about the mental health crisis our world is facing and to share the gifts of mindfulness and meditation to help people heal. Her writing has been featured on Thrive Global and Medium, and she has studied the topics of wellbeing under internationally renowned teachers such as Deepak Chopra, Tony Robbins and Bob Proctor, to name a few. Libby's work experience brings a unique and robust understanding of the needs of people and companies, and how working harmoniously in pursuit of common goals while maximizing potential, increases contributions and workplace satisfaction. As a human resources leader in the technology start-up space, Libby's specialty was growing HR departments for high growth companies. Through this experience, she came to realize her innate ability to connect on a personal level with individuals at all levels within an organization and this connection fueled her passion to build corporate programs that allow individuals to thrive in the workplace. Thanks to her evolving health journey, and frustrations with common medicine, Libby explored various forms of alternative medicine treatments. This newfound curiosity led her to begin studying treatments that focused on the mind/body connection. This led to a familiarization with the power of mindset in the healing process as she experimented with a daily meditation practice as an alternative healing mechanism (in combination with lifestyle, diet and exercise). After experiencing firsthand the healing power of meditation, Libby began her studies under Deepak Chopra at the Chopra Center in Carlsbad, CA, becoming a Certified Primordial Sound Meditation Coach and also received her certification in Applied Positive Psychology. Libby's life mission is to help individuals experience more joy, love and compassion in their lives by creating awareness about the negative toll stress has on the body both physically and emotionally. She is now uniquely qualified to enter a professional environment to provide education about the power of our mindset in the healing process and share meditation and mindfulness tools and training to help balance the demands of the competitive work environment. Her hope is that through her messages, people who are suffering from "dis-ease" can find something beautiful in their experiences in order to heal. Libby leads a variety of workshops, speaking enggements and educational sessions primarily focused on stress management techniques, meditation, mindfulness and ways to live a more purpose driven life.

We spend most of our time multitasking, which has increased the diagnosis for “Monkey Brain” syndrome, when we lose control of what is happening due to excessive multitasking and mindless activities. These factors make us much less efficient in our jobs because we no longer have the ability, or desire, to complete simple tasks, thereby decreasing employee productivity. Mindfulness training is an affordable benefit offering that combats “Monkey Brain” syndrome, has a high ROI and increases our livelihood. Studies continue to prove employers can no longer NOT afford mindfulness training.
