Kansas City's Len Dawson is one of the most respected sports figures in America. Though not a native son, Len made Kansas City his home after he joined the Chiefs in 1963. He quarterbacked the home team until he retired in 1975.

In 1966, while still playing for the Chiefs, Len became Sports Director for KMBC 9 NEWS. In addition to his responsibilities at Channel 9, Len currently hosts "Inside The NFL" on HBO which he has done for the last 22 years. Len has also offered his expertise to NBC and numerous Kansas City radio stations as a commentator. For the last 16 years, Len Dawson has been a member of the Chiefs Radio Broadcast Team.

Len is active in the community and focuses much of his energy on charity work. He has raised money for countless charitable organizations, especially those that help needy children.

Len Dawson is married and has two grown children. He and his family live in Kansas City.
