Biography

Hailing from the heart of central Ohio, Jeff is a testament to Midwestern grit, corporate savvy, and a genuine love for unlocking human potential. Growing up on a farm, he was regaled with stories and life lessons from his beloved grandfather, “Papaw”. These tales, coupled with his diverse career spanning corporate biotech, neuroscience, entrepreneurial ventures, and global speaking engagements, have shaped his unique voice and approach.

Taking a leap as the first in his blue-collar family to attend college straight from high school, Jeff then made waves in the biotech sector, leading groundbreaking targeted cancer product launches, including therapies for brain cancer. This experience sparked his fascination with neuroscience. He recognized that many in corporate America, despite their skills, weren't fully harnessing the science of effective communication with their teams or customers.

This realization propelled Jeff's mission: to share his insights on the interplay of biology, psychology, and brain physiology. His aspiration? To inspire communicators to leverage this knowledge to enhance their impact in both their professional and personal lives..

Jeff's achievements are both diverse and impressive. He's played pivotal roles in launching four cancer therapy drugs with seven different indications, grossing sales of well over $10 billion. He's founded and directed two successful sales and marketing consultancies. His written works, such as NeuroSelling and Story Based Selling, have found spots on best-seller lists, and he's a sought-after voice, featured in Forbes, Sales and Marketing Magazine, a top instructor on LinkedIn Learning and has graced numerous magazines, podcasts, and radio shows with his insights.. Yet, in spite of all his success, he’ll tell you he’s still just a simple storytelling farm kid from Ohio who wants more than anything to make his Papaw proud.
