Biography
Laurie Short is a speaker, author, and graduate of Fuller Seminary, and she has served on staff at four churches over the last thirty years. She has also spoken to more than 500,000 people at conferences, churches, and colleges around the country.
Laurie has authored six books: “Tracking God in your life” (2026) “Faith, Doubt and God’s mysterious timing” (2023) “40 verses to Ignite your Faith” (2019), “When Changing Nothing Changes Everything” (2017), "Finding Faith in the Dark” (2014), and Grace-Filled Stepparenting” (2020). She has been featured on TBN, PBS, Life Today, RightNow media, Focus on the Family, and Family Life Blended.
Laurie lives with her husband Jere in Santa Barbara--they are empty nesters because her stepson Jordan joined the Marine Corps in the Fall of 2023.
