Lara Silva was born in Minas Gerais, Brazil and moved to the United States at the age of 6. She grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and attended an elementary school for performing arts. It was there that she found her love for entertaining. After college, she decided it was time to finally pursue her dream of acting and she moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2016. Since then, she has been cast in major television series such as Netflix's Bloodline, NBC's Good Girls, Netflix's Raising Dion, and USA Network's Queen of the South. She recently starred in the feature film Blue Ridge opposite actor, Johnathon Schaech. Her most recognizable role is "Eden" in The Chosen, the renowned series that depicts the life of Jesus, and was created, co-written, and directed by Dallas Jenkins. As a woman of faith, Lara loves sharing her story so she can help inspire other young artists to follow their dreams and grow closer to God.
