Kyle Rittenhouse
Biography

Kyle Rittenhouse is well known for his involvement in a nationally covered self-defense shooting during the riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 2020. At the time, Rittenhouse was a 17 year-old who was passionate about helping the community he was raised in, not knowing he would be violently attacked and forced to defend his own life. Almost two years later, Rittenhouse was facing a lifetime in prison for defending himself; he was acquitted on November 19, 2021. After being found not guilty, Rittenhouse spoke at America Fest 2021, hosted by Turning Point USA. With over 10,000 people in the audience, Kyle spoke alongside some of the other men who were in Kenosha on the night of his self-defense shooting. Rittenhouse is now 20 years old and has decided to use his unfortunate situation for good, bringing light to the lies and false information spread about him -- and others who are forced to defend themselves. Kyle Rittenhouse is now a First and Second Amendment advocate whose background and experiences give him a unique perspective about why our Constitution is so important for the wellbeing of all Americans. He has been interviewed by some of the most prominent political media personalities in the country, including Tucker Carlson, Charlie Kirk, Pete Hegseth, Tim Pool, and many others.

Kyle Rittenhouse has an extremely unique and powerful story that captivates other Americans' hearts when they hear the real story -- as opposed to the biased narrative that was and still is continuing to be pushed about him in the mainstream media. He is a strong Christian and passionate about this country’s future. The Second Amendment saved Kyle’s life when he was 17 years old, and the First Amendment gives him the opportunity to speak up about his own experience during this challenging time for our nation with Americans who want to take away our constitutional right to bear arms.

In his free time, Rittenhouse enjoys flying and hopes to get his private pilot license soon. He also loves spending time with his golden retriever, who is a trained service dog. Kyle and his furry best friend enjoy training together and going on hikes.

Faith through Difficulties

I was never prepared for the obstacles and trials that I would be facing at such a young age in my life. I never realized what it truly meant that we are not in control and only God is until I was a sitting duck waiting for other people to decide whether I would spend the rest of my life in jail or they would come to the right and true conclusion: I acted in self-defense. My only hope and comfort was to pray and give my heavy yoke to God. I put my faith in God and trusted His plan would prevail. The book of James was what I clung to during this time. I am thankful I am now able to share my story of feeling defeated and helpless, confused as to why God would allow this trial in my life, and the beautiful hope that God has to offer through hard times and the lessons I learned.

The Importance of the First Amendment

Although the Second Amendment is what saved my life, the First Amendment allows me to share my story and spread awareness in hopes to prevent my situation from occurring to someone else. I love the First Amendment because it allows everyone to speak up for themselves, their beliefs, values, and morals. I was brutally lied about by the media, and the First Amendment gave me the freedom to combat the lies and rumors with truth. I would be honored to be given the privilege of using our First Amendment right to speak at your event about why our freedom of speech should be protected at all costs, the way it has allowed for me to change people’s minds about who I am after they were told lies, and the violation of my own First Amendment right as well as the censorship of those who supported me.

Self-Defense Should Not Be Political

The right to defend your life from someone attacking you should not be a disagreement argued by the left and the right. Democrat, Republican, Conservative, Independent, Libertarian, etc. are all protected by the God-given right to self-defense. My attorney for trial, Mark Richards had opposing political views as me on almost every issue, but self-defense is not and should not be perceived as a political issue and we agreed fully on that. I would love to be given the opportunity to speak at your event on why Self-Defense and the Second Amendment should be supported and protected by both political parties.
