Brian Bosworth

Former "bad boy" of football, Brian "The Boz" Bosworth was one of the most notorious and outspoken NFL athletes of all time. After great success as a college player for the University of Oklahoma, "The Boz" quickly rose to fame as a linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks in 1987, but his career was sidelined in 1989 after a shoulder injury. Retiring from football, Bosworth then took his larger-than-life persona to Hollywood and acted in several films including Stone Cold (1991), The Longest Yard (1995), and more recently, the Christian films Revelation Road and Revelation Road 2 (2013). While filming Revelation Road, Brian (whose character was filled with rage and anger) experienced a personal transformation and was able to come to terms with the anger and hurt that stemmed from his relationship with his deceased father, and how that impacted his relationship with God. In 2014, Bosworth was the subject of a documentary titled Brian and The Boz, which premiered as part of the ESPN "30 for 30" series and chronicled Bosworth's rise and fall as an athlete. In 2015, Bosworth became the 21st Sooner to enter the College Football Hall of Fame. He can also be seen in the Pure Flix film Do You Believe? alongside actors Mira Sorvino, Cybill Shepherd, Lee Majors and Sean Astin. Bosworth has three children and lives in Austin, TX with his wife, Morgan.
