We like to think we vote based on policy. Wrong! Americans vote for presidential candidates based on hair, height, sense of humor, and rough and tumble image, among others. And we always have. Shapiro, the author of the national bestseller "Project President: Bad Hair and Botox on the Road to the White House," examines why we vote how we vote, how image has played into elections dating back to Washington, how candidates exploit the American obsession with image, and what voters can do to fight back.
Fighting for freedom on America's campuses
The liberal bias on America's college campuses is overwhelming -- and dangerous. Shapiro, the author of the national bestseller "Brainwashed: How Universities Indoctrinate America's Youth," explains how pervasive it is, where the bias comes from, and what students, parents, administrators and professors can do to restore freedom on America's campuses.
America's sex problem
American culture is steeped in sex. From the magazines we read to the commercials we watch, from presidential politics to pop stars, American families are subjected to smut day in and day out. Shapiro, the author of the national bestseller "Porn Generation: How Social Liberalism Is Corrupting Our Future," examines the causes and effects of the oversexualization of American culture and explains what we can do to bring back American purity.
