Chris Anderson's interests have taken him on assignments covering ospreys in Maine, war in Bosnia, and skiing in Chile. Born in British Columbia, Canada, in 1970, Anderson spent his youth on the plains of West Texas. After graduating from Abilene Christian University, he became a staff photographer for the Longmont Times-Call in Longmont, Colorado. In 1995 he left the newspaper to shoot for Life, Time, Stern, Audubon, Skiing, Sports Illustrated, and other magazines. He is currently a contract photographer for U.S. News & World Report and a member of Aurora & Quanta Productions. When not on the road, he makes his home in Boulder, Colorado.
