Biography
With over 350 affiliates and 10 years of syndication with Talk Radio News, Rusty Humphries' unparalleled radio success has reshaped the landscape of talk radio. The Rusty Humphries Show continues to dominate the ratings for the 9-12pm EST timeslot. And, recently, a second program was launched on Atlanta's WGST AM/FM.
In conjunction with his talk radio presence, Rusty acts as an advocate for Veterans and the Armed Forces. Along with Tom Selleck, he is currently the national co-spokesman for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Visitors Center. The duo recently raised $1.18 million dollars for the cause. Additionally, The Rusty Humphries Show actively supports Operation Home Front Georgia, The Fisher House, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and The Tea Party Movement.
Rusty has starred in multiple feature length films. Recent films include Adam Sandler's current project and "Enders Game" starring Harrison Ford. He is a singer/songwriter and frequently provides content for other national radio programs.
A widowed father of two daughters, his personal life provides endless discussion opportunities for Rusty's listeners. He is an avid runner and proponent of a healthy lifestyle.
