Melissa speaks about when she started Baked By Melissa after being fired from her job in PR/Advertising. It was at that time that he brother encouraged her to just start making her “family famous” cupcakes, because it makes her happy. It was from that moment that Melissa started Baked by Melissa and continues with the love of baking and making people smile. Through building a mini cupcake empire, Melissa strives to instill in others the importance of doing what you love and something that makes you happy and using the positive energy to lift everyone up.
