Is that Possible?

Based on the book Step

In this perspective shifting motivational talk, Chris breaks down the popular concept from his recent book, Step, called the “Proverbial Mile.”

He describes how the mile stands between:
A person and their dreams...
A business and it’s objectives...
An organization and its mission…

Chris shatters the illusion the mile projects in our heads by practical advice on how to look at the mile in a different way. Audiences walk away from this talk ready to take immediate action in their lives, businesses, and organizations.

When Blank Happens

Based on the book Step.

This talk makes for a positive experience with audiences of all types as Chris gets personal about the “blank” that happens in our lives.

Through his personal experience (losing a mother to suicide, father to cancer, and failing in several businesses) he examines how we can deal with the “blanks” of our lives whether it be personal or professional.

This is a must hear talk as Chris identifies the three keys to getting through “blank.” Audiences are floored with Chris' vulnerability, and walk away truly connected with the daily challenges they face and a fresh take on how to approach them.

The “Blank” Leader

The question is not, “Are you’re a leader?”. It’s, “What type of a leader are you?”.

Chris explains in this workshop that no matter one’s title or position, we are always leading. Drawing from his own leadership experience and vast research on the topic, Chris sheds light into what he calls a “Thriving” Leader”.

He breaks down the idea that every action a leader takes receives a grade, but for leaders this grade comes in the form of adjectives that sit in front of the word leader when people describe them. The average of these words determines where a leader falls on what he has coined the Leadership Spectrum.

During this talk the audience will have the opportunity to evaluate where they sit on the Leadership Spectrum. Chris also shares concepts that will directly impact each person’s quality of leadership and their overall “leadership grade”.

This is a fun, challenging, and practical experience for leaders of any position. No matter what background each individual brings, they will leave with practical steps to become a more dynamic, strategic, and effective leader.

Also Available:
One Day Workshop (see “Blank” Leader Workshop)

Life Story Workshop

“If only we could create more time!”

One of the biggest frustrations Chris has heard from people when asked, “what’s your biggest challenge in creating the life you want?” is something along the lines of, “I don’t have enough time” or “If I only had the time.” The Life Story Workshop is a comprehensive and guided process that results in a plan to create time for the things that matter.

Every day our actions are writing a page in our story. By writing the ending of our story ahead of time, we can build a daily plan that makes that end a reality.

In this workshop participants will:
Learn How to Find Time for Things That Matter
Identify Time Thieves (Things Masquerading as Priority and Stealing Valuable Time)
Define their Life Purpose
Define their Life Priorities
Define their Core Values
Create Time and Priority Guardrails
Create a Realistic Plan for Their Desired Life

You may have heard the adage, “your life is one big story filled with many chapters”. However, if we don’t write it with intentionality, we’re setting ourselves up for an uncertain ending, at best. Sure, there will be edits and rewrites along the way, you certainly can’t predict the future. But, if you don’t write the story you want for your life, you’re guaranteed to get an unpredictable result.

The Life Story workshop will give participants the opportunity to write the story they want for their lives (personal, family, career, and business) while creating a practical plan for doing it. Give your team an injection of purpose by providing the Life Story workshop.

Workshop Includes:
Full or Half Day Option
Life Story Workbook

Additional Options:
The Intentional Year Video Library (includes Life Story Video Lessons)
Follow-up Group Coaching
One-on-One Coaching

Shaping Belief Workshop

“Our beliefs point us in the direction of our future.”

If you do not like the direction your beliefs are pointing, now is a great opportunity to do something about it! It is a frequently overlooked fact that the beliefs of the individual will affect the results of the organization. What we believe determines what we will achieve, both personally and as a part of a team. In this impactful workshop, Chris shares how to create, regain, and maintain a belief consistent with one’s goals.

For years Chris struggled, wondering whether or not he would end up any different than his mother and father. His mom committed suicide because she was not able to overcome her internal struggles. His dad was broke and on his fourth marriage when he finally lost his battle with cancer. Chris had to fight to create a belief in himself that was bigger than what he had seen growing up. He had to change what society would say about a kid who came from a broken home and had lost both parents. He was not supposed to succeed, but he did and... so can you. It is possible, and he is living proof. That is why this workshop exists!

During this workshop Chris will unpack the second Chapter of his book Step, titled "The Mindset." He will walk alongside each participant through the process of understanding why we believe what we do. Then, Chris will show how to wipe the slate clean and start the process of shaping a new set of beliefs that point in the direction of their choosing!

In this workshop each participant will:
Define Current State of Beliefs
Explore Belief Origins
Expose Words, People, and Situations That Have Created Bad Beliefs
Eliminate Bad Beliefs
Define Desired Personal Beliefs
Create a Systematic Plan for Reshaping Beliefs
Belief Impact Analysis

Workshop Includes:
Full or Half Day Option (full day recommended)
Shaping Belief Workbook

Additional Options:
The Intentional Year Video Library (Includes Shaping Belief Video Lessons)
Follow-up Group Coaching
One-on-One Coaching

#Goals Workshop

Is it possible to achieve our goals?

Statistics say that only a small percentage of people, teams, or organizations who set goals will actually accomplish them. But you don’t have to be a statistic.

We have all tried, and we have all failed at some point. So, what do we need to do differently to ensure success? For starters, one reason we do not achieve our goals is because we are setting them incorrectly. There’s a right and a wrong way to set goals, and it doesn’t stop there! Once we have set a goal, we have to effectively break it down into bite-sized steps we can accomplish then learn how to maintain momentum.

In this workshop each participant will:
Create More Effective Goals
Define Achievable Milestones
Define a “Step” Plan (from Chris’ book Step)
Create an Antidote to Giving Up
Identify Potential Roadblocks
Create a Plan for Winning Each Day

In this hands-on workshop, Chris creates a collaborative learning environment that instills a repeatable process for accomplishing goals on an individual, team, and organizational level. Whatever the goal, this workshop will provide a needed boost to make it a reality.

Let’s see what’s possible together!

Drawing from his experience as an expert in developing some of the world's leading mobile applications, not to mention being a millennial, Chris pokes fun at the old way of doing things. He backs that fun with tips and tools on how to survive in a 15 second, 140 character, small screen world.

A few excerpts from this talk include:
“A blast message to all of your friends on Facebook is a bad idea!”
“If your message takes longer than the time someone is stopped at a traffic light it will get lost.”
“I don’t care about your selfie, I care about mine.”

Audiences will laugh as they identify with the “tactics” we’ve all used or had used on us that didn’t work. Chris leaves the audience with practical tips for engaging in the “mobile” world.
