Biography

Thierry Malleret is a partner at Rainbow Insight, an advisory boutique located in Geneva and London that brokers ideas and opinions for business leaders, investors and high-net-worth individuals.

Until 2007, he was a Senior Director responsible for the Global Risk Network of the World Economic Forum, a network of senior business leaders and renowned academics that monitors the way in which global risks affect business and society and that proposes risk mitigation measures. Before, Thierry used to produce the flagship programme of the Annual Meeting in Davos.

Prior to that he was Chief Economist and Strategist, Alfa Bank, Moscow, managing a team that covered capital markets in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakstan. Thierry has also worked for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London and for think tanks in the United States and Europe.

Thierry holds a PhD in Economics. He has written several academic and business books, as well as three novels.
