Mark Divine
Biography

Mark Divine is a bestselling author, leadership expert, and conscious training pioneer whose mission is to help people unlock their full potential and lead with courage, clarity, and compassion. Known for blending ancient wisdom with modern science, Mark has spent over two decades teaching individuals and teams how to master their inner domain to thrive in a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) world.

Before founding SEALFIT, Unbeatable Mind, and the Courage Foundation, Mark began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand after earning his MBA in Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a BA in Economics from Colgate University. Despite his early corporate success, he felt a deeper calling to serve—and answered it by joining the U.S. Navy.

Mark went on to graduate #1 in his SEAL BUD/S Class 170 as the Honor Man, leading his entire original boat crew to finish alongside him—an achievement rarely seen in SEAL history. Over the next two decades, Commander Divine served nine years on active duty and eleven in the Reserve, retiring as a Commander in 2011. His experiences forged a lifelong dedication to integrating physical, mental, emotional, intuitional, and spiritual development—a holistic growth model he calls the Five Mountain Philosophy.

Through SEALFIT’s elite training, the Unbeatable Mind Academy, and his bestselling books—Unbeatable Mind, The Way of the SEAL, 8 Weeks to SEALFIT, Kokoro Yoga, Staring Down the Wolf, and Uncommon—Mark has impacted millions of people worldwide. His methods have been adopted by top athletes, CEOs, military units, and organizations seeking to build resilient, mission-driven teams.

Mark also hosts The Mark Divine Show, where he interviews high performers, thinkers, and change-makers on topics of leadership, presence, and purpose. Through his non-profit, The Courage Foundation, he supports veterans healing from post-traumatic stress, helping them find new strength and service in civilian life.

Today, Mark Divine lives in Encinitas, California, with his wife, Sandy. His vision is bold yet clear: to train 100 million world-centric leaders by 2040—individuals grounded in self-mastery, service, and love—to help usher in a more conscious and courageous world.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to some of the most common questions about booking Mark Divine for your event.

How do I book Mark Divine for my event?

Booking Mark Divine with Premiere Speakers Bureau is a streamlined 4-step process:
  • Availability Check: Contact us with your event date and budget to verify if your desired speaker is available.
  • Hold Date: We place a temporary "hold" on the speaker's calendar while you finalize internal approval.
  • Contracting: We issue a contract outlining the fee, cancellation policy, and event expectations.
  • Logistics: Once signed, our event management team handles all travel booking, itinerary, and AV requirements.

Why should I partner with Premiere Speakers Bureau rather than contacting speakers directly?

Partnering with Premiere Speakers Bureau provides a comprehensive safety net for your event that direct booking cannot match. You get the same speaker for the same price, but with a dedicated team with over 30 years of event experience handling contracts, logistics, and are prepared for any emergency. We know what it takes to run an excellent event.

What makes Premiere Speakers Bureau unique compared to other agencies?

Premiere Speakers Bureau distinguishes itself by having over 30 years of experience while partnering with more than 35,000 events. PSB has also built a streamlined, fully online process that makes booking a speaker, handling travel and payments extremely easy for anyone looking to plan a speaker led event.

How does Premiere Speakers Bureau's 'Zero Cost Service' model work?

Premiere Speakers Bureau operates on a 'Zero Cost Service' model for event planners. Our services—including research, booking, and logistics—are always free to the client. The speaker covers our commission from their standard honorarium as payment for our role in marketing and managing their engagements.

How are speaker fees structured, and what is typically included?

A speaker's fee typically covers the keynote presentation, a pre-event planning call, and standard customization. Travel expenses are usually billed separately.

What are the standard policies for speaker travel and expenses?

Travel expenses are negotiated during contracting. We generally recommend a flat travel fee for simplicity, though we also offer line-by-line invoicing when preferred. PSB ensures these expenses adhere to professional standards, and our Event Portal allows for easy tracking and invoicing.
