Biography
Steven Crowder is known to many as the firebrand commentator on the Fox News Channel. He is also an award-winning stand-up comedian, voice actor and frequent speaker for universities, political functions and student events.
Born in Detroit and raised in Montreal, Crowder began his career at the age of twelve. He was awarded the role of "The Brain" on the hit children's TV program "Arthur." His ability to voice multiple characters led to various roles and opportunities in television; however, it was the "Just for Laughs" Comedy Festival that introduced Crowder to one of his true loves - stand-up comedy.
Crowder developed his signature stand-up persona on the stages of festivals and clubs across North America. At age 18, he returned to "Just for Laughs" to set the record for youngest Comedian to perform (a record previously held by Chris Rock.) Heavily featured on XM Radio and winner of the “So you Think You’re Funny” MySpace Comedy Contest, Crowder relocated to New York City to continue his work in media and television.
