Dr. Monte Selby has his roots in education as an award winning teacher, principal, and professor. A highly requested keynote speaker, he has co-authored eight books, written a leadership column for Middle Ground magazine, and composed over 100 published songs. His comical and insightful music—featured on network television, radio, pod casts, and websites—includes legendary and Grammy-winning musicians, songwriters and producers. Over a thousand performances, workshops and keynote presentations have left audiences laughing, singing, and applauding across North America and Europe. Selby continues to provide customized staff development for rural, urban, and suburban schools throughout the USA and Canada. His work with students includes dynamic assemblies, artist residencies, and leadership training. Over the past decade he has keynoted dozens of state, national, and international conferences, including Canada’s National Character Education, the European League of Middle Schools, National Middle School Association, National SDE Kindergarten, National Business Teachers Association, National PTA, National Student LEAD, and many leadership and instructional institutes.
