
Mark Waldman is Adjunct Faculty at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, and an Associate Fellow at the Center for Spirituality and the Mind, at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mark is the author of 12 books on neuroscience, communication, neuro-economics, and personal development, including the best selling How God Changes Your Brain. According to Time, Newsweek, and the Washington Post, he and Dr. Andrew Newberg, MD, are considered the world’s leading authorities on spirituality and the brain. His research has been featured in Time, Oprah Magazine, the New York Times, the WashingtonPost, and USA Today. He has appeared on Oprah Radio, PBS television, Canadian National Television, and National Public Radio. In 2010, Mark received the Distinguished Speaker award from the Mind Science Foundation. His new book, to be released in 2012, focuses on the neuroscience of language, communication, and conflict resolution.
Mark and his research team are currently developing a series of neuro-training programs for cognitive improvement, stress management, corporate teamwork building, and weight control. Their strategies are now used by therapists, doctors, attorneys, educators, and caregiving organizations across the country. His Compassionate Communication program has been endorsed by universities, conflict resolution and mediating associations, and by the Parliament of World Religions.
