In addition to her radio success, she is a New York Times bestselling author and frequent cable news contributor. Her diverse experiences as law clerk, litigator, media personality and conservative commentator uniquely qualify her to dissect the news of the day and deliver insight upon the political climate.
Upon graduation from Dartmouth College, Laura Ingraham served as a Reagan Administration speechwriter for the White House, Department of Transportation and the Department of Education. She then pursued a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law where she was Notes Editor of the Law Review. She served as law clerk to the Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and also worked under Ralph K. Winter on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. After clerking, Laura practiced law as a white-collar criminal defense attorney for Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
Laura launched the nationally syndicated "The Laura Ingraham Show" in 2001. Prior to the national launch, she released her first book, The Hillary Trap. (The book was recently re-released in paperback.) Her second book, Shut Up & Sing: How the Elites of Hollywood, Politics and the UN are Subverting America, is a New York Times Bestseller. Laura's most recent book, Power to the People, was released in 2007. It quickly topped Amazon's bestseller list.
In Power to the People, Ingraham focuses on issues such as traditional family values, education, and American patriotism.
