  • Kim Bearden! She was fantastic!! I was so appreciative of her ability to convey such important ideas to teachers (and all of us, that are so difficult to hear from a supervisor or administrator, but were received so well coming from Kim. Her manner, her credibility, her enthusiasm, her charm all combined to establish an immediate and deep rapport with her audience and I know her words were taken to heart as positive and meaningful by virtually every one of the 450 attendees. Her presentation was memorable for everyone - and that includes the custodians, secretaries, para-professionals - everyone. I even had a community member who ran the lights and sound for us come up to me and tell me how much he enjoyed her talk. Fantastic!

  • Lisa, ELL Content Specialist - Fayette County Public Schools
  • Kim Bearden’s energy is infectious. As a teacher, she insists she is not perfect. Somehow the Disney American Teacher of the Year and bestselling author has found a way to blend enthusiasm, vibrancy, humor and positive reinforcement with discipline and academic rigor. Not many educators would trade an enviable teaching position at a school system with a lot of resources in an affluent community for an inner city school, startup institution, with an uncertain future. But Bearden did. And she has no regrets. Nor should she.
  • The Valdosta Daily Times

  • Jamie Vincek, Staff Development Director - Lamar CISD
  • From the moment Kim Bearden walked on the stage, she had the audience eating out of the palm of her hand. Her personal stories, her sense of humor, and her impactful strategies all amounted to a successful in service day for over 400 teachers in the St. Louis area.
