Safety, The Team Approach

Make Safety fun and interesting for your whole team.Once your employees have heard "Ensure Your Safety" they are ready to go beyond personal responsibility to watching out for the safety of those around them. John will come back and do a completely different program teaching your employees how to improve their own safety by approaching safety as a team. A recognized expert in communication skills, John has developed a series of communication tools anyone can use to share safety concerns with others. Imagine the result to your incident rate when all of your employees serve as safety coaches for each other. If you are using a behavioral safety approach John can help employees with techniques to help them share the results of an observation. In our culture it is uncomfortable to correct or criticize someone else's behavior. This gets in the way of employees helping each other. Even when they see a hazard or behavior that could result in an injury they are reluctant to say anything. After they learn John's methods they will find it a comfortable and rewarding process.(Please note, "Ensure Your Safety" is a prerequisite for "Safety the Team Approach".)This program is designed for employee meetings with 45 minutes to 1 hour available.

Safety for Leaders

"Safety For Leaders" is a special motivational presentation for leaders that contains some of the content of "Ensure Your Safety." It begins with making sure your corporate leadership is taking personal responsibility for their own safety. They as well as the rest of your employees must understand how working safely benefits them personally. It then addresses the issues they must understand that they are also responsible for the safety of those they supervise. Safety leadership is more than just cooperating with the safety department. It is making sure middle level management and employees understand that safety is a personal value of each leader and that values don't change when conditions change. John teaches your leadership how to communicate the need to work safely 100% of the time. John then moves into the beginning of his, "Mastering Communication," to give your leaders the skills to communicate effectively in everything they do but especially in safety.

This presentation is designed for management meetings with 45 minutes to 2 hours available.
