Jeannie DuBose, M.S., author of The Mother Daughter Dance and nationally recognized speaker, provides compelling and humorous lectures to audiences across the country on a variety of personal growth topics. Corporate and non-profit clients consistently rank Jeannie as a superlative speaker; her lively presentations specialize in subjects pertinent to women. Frequently requested presentations include “Exploring The Mother-Daughter Relationship,” “The Power of Knowing Your Story,” and “What Happens When Women Age”.
President of The Odyssey Family Counseling Center Advisory Board, Jeannie blends her skills as a family therapist with her experience in the corporate work force to provide audiences with a fresh lens for viewing their own lives. Clients who have made repeated requests for Jeannie’s presentations include The Young President’s Organization, Canyon Ranch, The Junior Auxiliary, as well as a host of educational institutions, women’s clubs, and professional organizations.
Jeannie’s unique life experiences provide an additional dimension to her education and training. Upon graduation from Vanderbilt University, Jeannie was awarded The Wattles Fellowship to work in England as a broker for Lloyds of London. She received her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Georgia State University and currently serves as the Coordinator for Hospitality and Connection at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Atlanta. Jeannie counts the year she spent teaching high school English in a remote Kenyan village as among the most formative of her life.
Jeannie lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and three children.
