Hollis was outstanding. He was humorous, entertaining and most importantly challenging. Sometimes it’s hard to mix these elements but he was superb and uniquely gifted to speak to athletes. They listened. They took his talk to heart. In addition, he met a need on our campus by his personal touch with the students after spoke. He was well liked by our athletes and he took his time to speak to our athletes afterwards and I could tell he was meeting a real need. One student said to me “I’m going to start going to chapel after listening to him.”
