Reviews

"I have seen Ericka present everything from impromptu speeches to a student group, to a heartfelt thank you to several hundred of her supporters, including state and local officials, as well as friends and family, at a reception after her Miss America 2004 win, to giving the commencement address at UCF in the fall of 2004. She was an absolute delight at the commencement ceremony and had the entire audience eating out of her hand. She was funny, ,topical, and truly made an impact on the thousands of graduates and their families with her witty, insightful remarks. There is no audience too large or too small who would not benefit from hearing Ericka speak. She has that special uncommon ability to make everyone within the sound of her voice feel she is talking just to them."

Get OUT of the Box!

Nobody is born a bigot! Prejudice is a learned behavior. And it is with this mindset that we are able to make positive changes to our lifestyles and viewpoints that are most affected by our differences. In this discussion, Ericka highlights the frequently untapped areas of diversity to enlighten the audience on how to think outside of the box and gain a better understanding of the need for inclusive behavior. Great for community and corporate training.

Fun and Functional Diversity

More oft than not, Corporate Diversity programs are considered stiff and stale, and therefore not fully absorbed or supported by a company’s employees. Ericka offers a variety of strategies for management and employees to get excited about and involved in your company’s diversity initiatives. This entertaining and interactive presentation encourages audience participation to leave a lasting impression and incite the utmost best practices in your company.

Media Mayday - The reality in

The US is the most resourceful country in the world and by far the most diverse. Therefore consideration and appropriate representation of our nation’s variety of cultures and sub-cultures is imperative for broadening the bottom line of business. Diversity in business is far reaching and is comprised of demographics and profitability just as much as it is growth and values. This hour long seminar is designed to better equip your company’s decision makers with the tools necessary to attract and maintain the brand loyalty to your brand by the consumer through cultural marketing.

Attention to Attitude

It has been proven time and time again that your attitude will determine your actions and your actions will determine your accomplishments! In this presentation, Ericka highlights several keys to maintaining a successful attitude in order to achieve optimal results in your workplace and home-life.

Diversity & Disparities in Healthcare

Ms. Dunlap shares gathered information from her many travels and in-depth interactions with diverse audiences the world over. Servin' it Up and Dishin' it Out!

A Women’s Empowerment Seminar

As Miss America, Ms. Dunlap obviously struggles with the expectation of perfection and recognizes that the supply and demands on women to balance it all usually leaves them depleted. In this talk, Ericka focuses on challenging women to relinquish the pressure to be perfect and “the need to please” in order to best achieve personal and professional successes. This discussion is designed to equip women with the recipe to shake and bake their way to personal fulfillment and stray away from the pleasure principal.

I Love ME!

In a recent poll by People magazine 80% of young girls and women reported that the images of women on TV and in movies, fashion magazines and advertising make them feel insecure about their looks. In addition, the poll indicated that 93% they had made various and repeated attempts to lose weight to measure up to those images. In other words, young women are consciously and subconsciously crying out for an answer toward personal acceptance and contentment. Ericka speaks to the significance of living with a higher standard of self-confidence in a world swarming with contradictions to valuing oneself as a unique individual.
