Doug Smith was a successful business executive serving as CEO of Kraft Foods Canada, Chairman/CEO of Borden Foods Corporation and most recently Chairman/CEO of Best Brands Corporation. Since 2004, he has dedicated himself to learning about, practicing and sharing that which enables people to live and lead abundantly. For the past seven years, he has taught the most popular winter term course at DePauw University: The Skills of Happiness.
He frequently lectures at Canyon Ranch in Lenox, MA and Tucson, AZ. He is a sought after speaker for corporate and educational events and conferences. Doug does this without compensation, but requires a meaningful donation to cancer research, in return for his work.
Happiness: The Art of Living with Peace, Confidence and Joy is his first book. All his profits from the book are donated directly to cancer research. Doug has an MBA from Dartmouth and a BA and honorary doctorate from DePauw University.
